Allah

 Interpreting the Name of Allah, Allah or Allah In order to interpret the name of the Most Holy and Most Noble in our hearts, we first present the attributes of Allah. Allah Wasa'il-ul-Alam (Was-e-ul-Alam): Allah has all-pervading knowledge. He knows everything and everything is in His supreme knowledge. Allah hides everything magnificently and explains some things to His servants so that we may understand His ways. 


Allah Al-Aleem (Al-Aleem): Allah knows all things, knows every secret, knows everything well. Allah's knowledge is limitless and He knows everything from small to big things. 


Allah Al-Hakim (Al-Hakim): Allah is Wise. He thinks about everything right and wrong, good and bad. His firmness is limitless and he has the eloquence of justice in every situation. 


Allah al-Rahman (Al-Rahman): Allah is very kind. He arranges His favors and bestows mercy on His servants. He is always a source of attention and grace for us. 


Allah al-Rahim (Al-Rahim): Allah is very kind and merciful. He bestows upon His servants the best of blessings and He forgives those who touch them. Allah forgives our sins when we repent to Him. 


The name of Allah means the Great, the Mighty, the Magnificent, the All-Knowing, the Wise, the Most Merciful and the All-Secret. Allah is our Creator, Sustainer and Lord, who has a good purpose for our thoughts and prayers. The interpretation of Allah's names helps us to understand their attributes, characteristics and need of worship and easily leads us to Allah.
